SG1-90 Progressive Reset Trigger (PRT) for F&N PS90 (Pre-Order, ships 9/18/26)

The SG1-90 is a purpose-built cross progressive reset trigger system by McClane Defense Co exclusively for the FN PS90 platform. Utilizing proprietary internal geometry and design, the SG1-90 replaces key factory fire-control components and adds a dedicated reset component to enable a true 3-position selector configuration: Safe, Semi, and Forced Reset. This system allows the shooter to select standard semi-automatic operation or semi-automatic operation with a progressive forced-reset mechanism, enabling exceptional trigger pull speed while maintaining full control, consistent ergonomics, and one trigger pull per round fired.

3-Position Selector: Safe (S) / Semi (1) / Forced Reset (F)

The SG1-90 utilizes a proprietary 3-position selector engineered specifically for the PS90 platform:

• Safe (S) — Mechanical safety blocks trigger movement.
• Semi (1) — Standard PS90 semi-automatic operation.
• Forced Reset (F) — Progressive reset functionality is available when the trigger is pulled fully through the activation range. Partial trigger pulls in this position behave as standard semi-automatic fire.

Semi-Automatic Operation with Selectable Forced Reset

The SG1-90 is engineered around the PS90’s unique fire-control geometry to deliver predictable performance across selector positions:

• Standard semi-automatic operation — Conventional trigger function with one pull per shot.
• Forced-reset operation — The trigger is mechanically driven forward after each shot when fully actuated, allowing faster follow-up shots while still requiring a separate pull for each round fired.

Included Components & Materials

• Replacement hammer — Replaces the factory polymer hammer; heat treated and nitrided.
• Replacement out-of-battery sear — Replaces the factory polymer sear; heat treated and nitrided.
•  3-position selector — Hard anodized; replaces the factory polymer 2-position selector.

The SG1-90 comes in 2 materials:

17-4 PH steel: This kits comes with  replacement hammer, Replacement out of battery sear. Polymer 3-position selector, reset component, over travel limter, and installation jig

PA12-CF: This kits comes with  replacement hammer, Polymer 3-position selector, reset component, over travel limiter, and installation jig. You would  use your OEM out of battery sear with this kit.

All 17-4 stainless components are heat treated for durability, wear resistance, and long-term consistency.

Compatibility

• FN PS90 only with a factory-configured semi-automatic trigger pack.
• Not compatible with full-auto trigger packs.
• Not compatible with aftermarket or modified fire-control components.
• Not compatible with any other firearm platforms.
• Compatible with all PS90 barrel lengths, including 16" barrels and SBR configurations.

Operating Limitation

DRY FIRE NOT RECOMMENDED; repeated trigger cycling without a cartridge or snap cap can cause damage.

⚠ WARNING: Rapid, sustained fire can cause excessive barrel and chamber heat, increasing the risk of heat-related discharge (cook-off). Allow cooling between magazines. Never leave a round chambered when not actively firing. Follow all standard firearm safety practices.
