Introducing our custom FRT Kit for the Taurus TX22. Each kit comes with everything you need to  run your TX22 in FRT mode.

1 x TX22 FRT disconnector

1 x Steel replacement striker plate assembly

1 X PA12- CF enhanced magazine follower

The replacement striker plate assembly is not required on first install but suggested for long term use and wear associated with the FRT. Steel and aluminum upgraded striker plate assemblies recommended. Steel comes with this kit.

striker plate assembly is in 316L steel and adds significant weight to the slide. Runs fine with most ammo un-suppressed. May still need a little more weight to run suppressed (1 OZ is needed over the normal weight, a red dot and plate should do it). We pre-file and polish the assembly, but you still may find them a little tight. A rubber mallet and nylon punch works fine to push them into place. The FRT is in chromoly steel and should fit fine. Clean and lube before and after install. Use a light trigger pull, holding it down to tightly will interfere with FRT function. Use clean oiled original Taurus Mags. The tandemkross mag extension kits work great as well. The Promag hi-cap mags do not! Have fun!
